18th - 25th March 2009 ~ Yoga & Singing Retreat - Marrakech Desert, Morocco

Restore & recharge in the Marrakech Desert, Morocco. We will be staying at the stunning ‘La Pause’ with 360 degree surrounding views of the desert and views to the Atlas Mountains, where you will enjoy twice daily yoga, sounding & singing, relaxation & meditation, delicious local food and stay in traditional mud & straw built guesthouses. 

Sleep or eat under the stars in nomadic tents, listen to local musicians, lie in hammocks amongst the olive groves, read, swim or enjoy the spectacular sunsets.  Lots of outdoor activities to choose from - horse/donkey rides, mountain biking, golf and camel treks. And only 30 minutes from Marrakech, where we will visit for a day of shopping in the Souks and experience a traditional Moroccan hammam (steam bath).

2nd - 5th April 2009 ~ Yoga Retreat - West Sussex

A relaxing and rejuvenating 3 days of yoga at Duncton Mill, West Sussex. Duncton Mill is a beautiful retreat centre nestled at the foot of the South Downs, within an hours reach of London. Surrounded by peaceful lakes, extensive woodland and an organic farm, it is only a short distance from the South Downs Way...perfect for walking and exploring the local area.

3rd - 10th Sept 2009 ~ Yoga, Meditation & Singing Retreat - Samos, Greece

A week of yoga on the island of Samos, Greece. Set on the unspoilt Marnei peninsula on the Agean Sea, Marnei Mare comprises 3 villas, reception and staff cottage, an infinity pool and gathering area set on a stunning seashore peninsula. 14 acres of bodynamic olive groves surround the villas, together with organically grown fruit and vegetables and spectacular gardens. 6th - 18th Dec 2009 ~ Yoga & Meditation Retreat - Rajasthan, India

The rural location of Castle Bijaipur provides a perfect setting for a yoga retreat. You will experience the warmth and hospitality of the family who live at the Castle and run it. Their ancestors have lived here for 13 generations. The rooms have character and elegance with ensuite facilities. Food is homegrown and freshly prepared. There is a garden courtyard where you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The hotel has horses and bicycles that can be hired. There is also a resident massage therapist. During the yoga sessions, we will explore postures, breathing, relaxation, meditation and other aspects of yoga such as chanting and its philosophy. Abhijeeta will be joining Shanti on this 12 night retreat in rural Rajasthan.
